Or you can shop at Washington Square ­ one of the largest malls on the West Coast. 220 stores clustered around Nordstrom, Macy's (formerly Meier & Frank), J.C. Penney. The Red Lion Inn at the Quay will shuttle you there.

And remember, Oregon has no sales tax!
